Whoa hey, important post I guess

I’ve been homeless since September 2012, basically I’ve had intense anxiety and depression and I failed my first year of University. I was really scared of telling my parents so when they found out I couldn’t go back to school this September they told me to leave (this is understandable because they both are out of work and also very poor so it’s not reasonable for them to sustain me as well).

I’ve been trying my best to find a job, I comb craigslist and government job sites on a regular basis but I haven’t had much luck, I don’t have any work experience (though I have a ton of volunteer experience!) and I make a bad first impression I think.

I don’t have any relatives in the country or friends that can take me in.

I’ve been pretty good at rationing the amount of money I have but I’ve more or less run out, I get a monthly cheque from the government for $22.75 but that’s not enough to feed me and pay for transport and stuff at this point.

What I’m getting at is I would really appreciate if you could donate even a small amount of money ($1.05 buys me a toasted buttered bagel!) or reblog this post as a signal boost.

I’ve set up a paypal account and I don’t know how paypal works but my e-mail for the account is czadecka@gmail.com (I set up a ‘charitable cause’ but I don’t know how to link it, I tried adding the button to my layout but when I clicked it it wouldn’t work)

I’m also willing to offer commissions however I don’t really have access to a scanner or supplies beyond some inking pens and pencils and sketchbook paper. Example of my work are under the tags ‘my art’ and ‘my drawings’ on my blog and also at whiskeyclone.deviantart.com so if you want a cute little drawing or something for a dollar I can totally do that!

I really appreciate any contributions/reblogs, I’m just trying to nourish myself enough to keep functioning and looking for a job and a place to stay.

There are now 501 of you! It’s all very exciting…and so, we celebrate with a giveaway. I’ve never done one of these before, so bear with me.

The prize is this book How to Archer: The Ultimate Guide to Espionage and Style and Women and Also Cocktails Ever Written

Here is how it is going to work: You will reblog this post. That’s really it. Reblog this post, as many times as you’d like and I will pick a winner using a random number generator (random.org) to find the winner.

General rules:

1. You must be following this blog.

2. As far as I can tell, shipping internationally won’t be a problem. If it turns out that it is an issue, and the winner is not from the United States, I will figure something else out.

3. You have between now (about 9:42 am central standard time) and Monday February 20th, 2012 at 10 am central standard time to reblog this entry. Adopt These Dogs of the Day: A six-year-old Great Dane named Lily, who lost her eyes at 18 months to an illness, is looking for a new home — and so is her guide dog Maddison.

The Dogs Trust Shrewsbury in Roden received the pups in July from owners who claimed they could no longer care for them. Sadly, the trust has been unable to rehome the dogs, mostly due to Lily’s condition and the fact that she comes with an inseparable companion.

“It’s very sad as members of the public walk straight by their kennel,” said the trust’s manager, Louise Campbell. “Lily does all the things normal dogs do and, if you saw her from a distance, you wouldn’t even realise she was blind.”
